I was invited to a Sweet Sixteen and got the idea to look at dresses. These dresses can be used for cocktail hour, parties, or going out on the town. The first thought when invited to these events is, "what am I going to wear??". After is the fear and panic that you have nothing to wear! The problem with these dresses is that you need a dress that doesn't look cheap and that'll look good on you (without being slutty!). I went a little overboard and looked for luxury dresses that I wish I could have. These are to die for dresses that any girl would love to wear. They're perfect for parties, going out, and even prom! To die for dresses! There were so many more but I had stop drooling at some point!
This dress is fom HM and is $49.50. This dress is super cute and affordable. This shade of pink will look good on any skin color. Another plus is the rushing which will make you look skinnier. The small V can give a touch of cleavage and add a va-va-voom effect. This is perfect for parties, date night, or going out with the girls!

Another HM dress that is £34.99. It is from the UK and not sold in America unfortunately. I love this pink powder color and the girly vibe. The ruffles along with flower on one side is super chic. Pair this with heels or even some tights and you're ready to party or go out!

UK HM dress for €29.99. The skirt is flowy which is perfect for dancing and there isn't to much fabric so you won't ruin the dress sweating. The Vneck is super sexy and the option to have the dress in powder beige or grey is a plus! (Personally like the powder beige better). Love it

This Notte by Marchesa is an 'I Die' dress. It retails for $695 and comes in blush (pic) and plum. I personally love the plum but this dress is gorgeous. The one shoulder with the flower detail and cascading detail from the shoulder is mystical. It has drama but has a simplicity to it. Plus, who doesn't love Marchesa??

This is the perfect dress by Notte by Marchesa. It is $795 and comes in platinum (shown), hot pink, and black. I love the platinum since it shows all the details and I'm dying over this dress. The flower belt in the middle synchs you in and the ruffles make you look skinny and lean. This is the perfect dress and I really wish I had it. It is the perfect prom dress, party dress, and every occasion. Dress it down with flats or turn it into a red carpet event with sky high heels.

This Asos dress goes for $80.69. This is a more affordable dress and is a "knockoff" from some of the designer gowns I found. I love the one shoulder and rushing to the side. The pearl belt adds a nice touch and synchs in the waist. It has a Grecian goddess feel can be worn with gladiators to a date or heels to a party.

This Lipsy is $111.17. This pink is a very pretty shade and will look great on darker skin. The tiered skirt can take away from larger hips or thighs. The rushed along with boobs can draw a nice emphasis to the 'girls' and the middle pearls adds a nice detail. It is a more simple dress but is sweet and simple.

This Alberto Makali goes for $345. I LOVE this dress and it is my 'I Die' list. The empire waist with the flower bust is stunning. The tiered ruffled skirt gives you an easy feel and it'll be easy to move in. The back is criss-crossed which means sexy back cleavage. This dress can be super glam, movie staresk with heels or flats and the center of a party. I soo need this dress!

This Alice + Olivia dress foes for $484. It is super adorable and can be used for many events and for all ages. The sparkly bust makes it glam and the draped skirt adds sophistication. I can see myself wearing this with heels for an event or a twenty year old wearing it for cocktails out. It has the perfect mix of girly and elegance. J'adore!

This Alice + Olivia dress is on sale for $221. This draped, long sleeve dress is super chic. The long sleeve is great for colder nights and it's shorter so you can show your legs. This dress is for the girl with the mile long legs and has a long and lean body. It is simple but has this edge to it. Another great thing is you can dress it up or down!

There are some drool worthy pieces I found while browsing online. My, do I have a taste for design dresses!! You can never go wrong with one expensive dress that you'll get a ton o use for. These dresses may just be for special occasions but dress it down and you can wear it for a hot date, cocktail hour, or out on the town with the girls. These dresses can be worn with platform heels or even flats. Just remember don't go for the cheap, tacky material! Make it classy, all the boys will be staring in these stunning numbers!
